Safety on the railways involves more than technical regulations and procedures. Human factors are at least as important. Wagon keeper Ermewa is therefore going on the offensive: over the next few months, its 220 employees will take part in a training programme that was developed by the European Railway Agency (ERA).

The aim is to firmly anchor a durable safety culture in the company. As the first company in the railfreight industry, Ermewa does not only take up ERA's new offer, it will also actively participate as a pilot partner in the future development of the programme.

Kick-off is today, 30 September 2020, when the first training course starts in Ermewa's headquarters in Levallois, France. At the training table: the 13 members of Ermewa's management circle. (ben)
