Transflo names Jay Tomasello as CTO for AI growth

Transflo, a leader in transport automation and data solutions, has appointed Jay Tomasello as its new Chief Technology Officer to boost AI and technology innovation. With over 25 years of experience in logistics, digital transformation and enterprise-scale innovation, Tomasello previously served as CIO at Forward Air, leading platform modernisation and AI-driven solutions. He also spent over nine years at FedEx, where he launched industry-leading digital products and analytics tools.
Renee Krug, CEO of Transflo, praised Tomasello's expertise in modernising critical systems and his understanding of transportation operations, emphasising his role in delivering connected, automated freight solutions. Tomasello aims to use AI and technology to reduce friction, provide real-time insights, and improve freight efficiency and profitability. He will oversee all technology strategy areas, from freight optimisation to driver experience, as Transflo continues to drive innovation in supply chain management.
