SC Ports rail volumes rise

South Carolina Ports closed fiscal year 2025 with growth, handling 2.6 million teu – up 3% year-on-year – and a record number of rail moves as it reported. Inland Port Greer set a new milestone with 205,523 rail moves, nearly 10% above the previous year. Inland Port Dillon contributed 33,838 rail moves. SC Ports also moved nearly 166,000 finished vehicles through its facilities.

 

"Our customers know we deliver excellent port service and personalized solutions for their supply chains", said SC Ports President and CEO Barbara Melvin. She added that SC Ports aims to expand toward a 10 million teu future. (js)
