Renewed emphasis on premium products

Etihad Cargo, the freight and logistics arm of Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Aviation Group, has enhanced delivery in its eight premium product ranges, which account for 30% of operations, by appointing a specialised managerial team.
Nasir Sajwani will now head the carrier’s ‘flight valet’ unit, which manages high-value vehicles; ‘fly culture’, a tailored service for the secure and discreet transportation of rare and valuable artworks and musical instruments; and ‘safe guard’, a dedicated secure transport service for valuable cargo.
Fabrice Panza, product manager, continues to lead Etihad Cargo’s cool-chain products, including its award-winning ‘pharma life’ and ‘fresh forward’ units. Ram Vignesh now manages Etihad Cargo’s ‘air mail’ and ‘e-commerce’ products, while Arun Nair leads the carrier’s ‘live animals’ and ‘sky stables’ units. (ah)
