New CEO for Central European post office

Swiss Post has appointed Pascal Grieder as its new CEO, with effect from 1 November 2025.
Grieder holds a PhD in engineering from ETH Zurich and previously held senior roles at Salt Mobile, McKinsey and 1&1 Telecommunications. From 2018 to 2023 he led Salt as CEO, focusing on customer needs, innovation and infrastructure expansion. At 1&1 he is in charge of sales and product management.
Until Grieder takes over officially in autumn interim CEO Alex Glanzmann will continue to lead the company.
Swiss Post’s board sees Grieder as a strategic and values-driven leader capable of delivering success for a self-financed public service that remains relevant and customer-focused.
