More capacity for Safran service

The carrier CMA CGM is planning to improve the schedule reliability of its Safran service connecting North Europe with East Coast South America by deploying a ninth vessel with effect from 15 November 2022. The unit will start its journey from Antwerp.
At the same time, the southbound call in Tangier will be reinstated, allowing a transfer of cargo from North Europe to ports served on CMA CGM's Med service Sirius calling in Salvador, Rio Grande, Itajai & Itapoa.
The new rotation of Safran will be as follows: London, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Tangier, Santos, Paranagua, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Paranagua, Santos, Tangier, London. (sh)
