Trans-o-flex has introduced a new business unit offering logistics services for urgent, critical or sensitive consignments.
The ‘Special Services’ team handles time-sensitive operations such as direct courier runs or air charters. One example includes the door-to-hospital delivery of a pacemaker from Germany to Brazil via an on-board courier.
The service also includes value-added solutions such as the delivery and assembly of promotional displays in pharmacies or shelf-stocking support. Additionally, Trans-o-flex handles logistics for time-sensitive pharmaceutical patent expiries. “This can be planned, of course, but is an extremely time-critical segment,” said Trans-o-flex CEO Martin Reder.
