KWE's new facility learns how to fly

The Malaysian affiliate of Japanese Kintetsu World Express (KWE) has started operations at the new warehouse in the Free Commercial Zone (FCZ) of Penang Airport, Malaysia. This follows a new warehouse which opened 3 km from Shanghai Pudong Airport in August 2020.
Penang is known as a centre for electronics and medical equipment manufacturers. The warehouse covers approx. 9,200 sqm and is located within one hour by truck from surrounding industrial parks.
As a warehouse for non-residents, KWE Malaysia can store and manage products and materials for corporations without a physical presence in Malaysia. The company also runs a truck shuttle service between Penang and Kuala Lumpur. (sh)
