Hungary: first e-trucks now in service

Waberer’s has added Hungary's first series-produced electric trucks to its fleet. The two purely electric Renault trucks will be deployed for commercial freight services and distribution tasks within the cities.
The haulier has already taken a number of steps in recent years to achieve a continuous reduction of its carbon footprint in the future. A cornerstone of this process is the testing and introduction of vehicles with alternative powertrains into the company’s fleet. As part of this initiative, Waberer’s put its first LNG-powered vehicle into operation last year. (ben)
