Ground handling at ZRH until 2032
Swissport has renewed its ground handling license at Zurich airport (ZRH) for another seven years, ensuring services for over 30 airlines.
The contract calls for Swissport to provide air cargo logistics, baggage handling, aircraft pushback, de-icing and lounge hospitality.
“We’re delighted to continue our collaboration with Zurich airport. This renewal guarantees operational stability and reaffirms Swissport’s expertise in hub handling for Swiss International Air Lines,” said Warwick Brady, CEO of Swissport International.
Swissport, which has operated at Zurich airport since 1996, employs 2,300 staff and handled over 187,000 flights in 2024. It continues to invest in sustainability, with 44% of its fleet already electric. This figure is set to exceed 55% by the end of 2025. (ah)
