Goldhofer elevates services under new leadership

The German equipment developer and manufacturer Goldhofer has merged the service units of its transport and airport technology divisions to streamline administrative processes and increase efficiency. While sales and technical functions remain separate, services now report directly to CEO Matthias Ruppel.
Armin Habel (pictured), formerly with Volvo Trucks, Schwarzmüller and Krone, takes over as head of service. He brings over 20 years of industry expertise to the role and joined Goldhofer early last year. The change strengthens service as an independent pillar and aims to enhance response times and customer focus.
Sales leaders Stavros Hatziioannou (airport technology) and Robert Steinhauser (transport technology), who the ITJ had the pleasure of interviewing at Breakbulk Europe in Rotterdam last month, will now focus fully on market development. Customer contact points for technical support, parts and warranties remain unchanged. (ah)
