Gerg to head Brazilian team in Amsterdam

Embraer Commercial Aviation has established a global leasing and freighter activities team to enhance its presence in the cargo and leasing markets.
Based in Amsterdam, the team will focus on e-jet passenger-to-freighter conversions and commercial leasing activities under a unified structure.
Oliver Gerg, newly-appointed as senior vice-president for global leasing and freighter activities, will lead the initiative. Gerg previously led Embraer’s global leasing team and played a key role in launching its e-freighter in 2022. He’ll report directly to CCO Martyn Holmes.
“The formation of this team is a strategic step to capitalise on market opportunities. Oliver’s expertise makes him the ideal leader to drive value for our customers,” said Holmes. This move aims to reinforce Embraer’s commitment to innovation and customer focus in the evolving aviation sector. (ah)
