Geodis has announced a series of senior appointments to strengthen its European management. Amaury Valicon (pictured), currently CFO and COO of the group, will become executive vice-president Europe on 1 November 2025, succeeding Thomas Kraus. Valicon, who joined the French 3PL in 2017, will continue to report directly to CEO Marie-Christine Lombard and remain a member of the COMEX.

In addition, Marc Meier, with more than 30 years of international logistics experience at Dachser, Senator International, Fr. Meyer’s Sohn and Kühne+Nagel, will take over as managing director Germany-Austria-Switzerland on 1 October. On the same date, Maurizio Bortolan, formerly with BRT (Geopost), Maersk and Number 1, becomes managing director Italy. Both will report to Valicon.

Geodis says the appointments are designed to reinforce its European leadership structure and support its growth ambitions. (ah)
