From Rickmers to Chipolbrok

The "Lila Mumbai", once part of the Rickmers fleet, has now been chartered by Chipolbrok, a long-standing rival on the market. After completing unloading in Hamburg, the ship was loaded for an eastbound voyage. With a full cargo on board, the freighter will sail to Saudi Arabia, India, Singapore, Vietnam and China on a trip-out charter basis.
Mumbai, Kakinada and Visakhapatnam are the three Indian discharge ports on this long route. Hamburg and Antwerp loaded many heavy lift cargoes for these destinations, including a 100 t condenser, structural parts for a bridge crane, alloys and steel products. The majority of the cargo, almost 21,000 t, will be added - as usual - in Antwerp. (cd)
