Evergreen expands Southeast Asia–India network

Evergreen Marine launched its new Southeast Asia–eastern India (CIX7) service on 20 April 2025, further strengthening connectivity between Vietnam, Thailand and eastern India. Operated in collaboration with Wan Hai Lines, RCL Feeder and Bengal Tiger Line, the CIX7 will deploy four 2,200 teu vessels on a 28-day roundtrip rotation. Evergreen will contribute one vessel to the loop.
The maiden voyage departed from Cat Lai port, Ho Chi Minh City, and arrived in Chennai yesterday, 4 May 2025. With calls at Laem Chabang, Singapore, Port Kelang, Chennai and Vizag, the service enhances Evergreen’s East India coverage and frequency, improving cargo flow between key Southeast Asian and Indian ports.
