The AD Ports Group has commenced operations at the Noatum Ports Luanda Terminal in Angola, under a 20-year concession agreement.

The group, in partnership with Unicargas and Multiparques, is investing almost USD 380 million to modernise the terminal and develop Noatum Unicargas Logistics, enhancing Angola’s trade connectivity.

The project will upgrade the port to handle super-post-panamax vessels and significantly boost container capacity. Investments include new handling equipment, improved IT systems and hybrid cranes to reduce emissions. The expansion is in line with the AD Ports Group’s broader African growth strategy. (pb)
