700 new "green" heavy duty vehicles

Stef has contracted Saipol from the Avril group to increase its fleet of HGVs in France. The vehicle in question is the Oleo 100, a “B100” type renewable energy that is powered by diesel and cuts greenhouse gas emissions by a minimum of 60% and particulate emissions by up to 80%.
Stef''s climate initiative 2030 called “moving green” aims at reducing greenhouse gas emissions from its vehicles by 30% by 2030. With this contract, the trucking company intends to upgrade one third of its fleet of heavy-duty vehicles to Oleo 100, which represents 700 tractors and carriers. (sh)
