The arrival of the “MSC Natasha XIII”, a 366 m vessel, at Brazil's Porto de Santos on 1 February marks a historic milestone. With a capacity of 14,400 teu, it's the largest ship to dock there, facilitated by the collaborative efforts of all parties involved.

The president of the Port Authority of Santos (APS), Anderson Pomini, welcomed the achievement and attributed it to the infrastructure improvements currently underway in the port. MSC also celebrated the feat, emphasising its commitment to boosting Brazil’s trade sustainably.

The port terminal BTP underlined that the port was ready to welcome such vessels, based on its solid infrastructure and focus on productivity and safety. After its stop in Santos, the “MSC Natasha XIII” will head for Asia. (pb)
