WW adds capacity in the US Southeast

Wallenius Wilhelmsen has signed a 20-year lease agreement with Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) to expand its capacities at the port of Brunswick. The contract may be extended to up to 30 years.

Upgraded and enlarged facilities will enhance the company’s capabilities in the US Southeast, providing logistical support primarily for automotive, equipment, and breakbulk sectors.

The projects include a new equipment processing centre (EPC) for the storage, customisation, assembly, and distribution of machinery. This hub will streamline handling and delivery processes for equipment OEMs and their dealers, forming part of Wallenius Wilhelmsen's broader network of terminals and processing facilities in the region.
