DX has appointed Ian Truesdale as its new CEO, with effect from 1 July 2025, as it enters a new phase of accelerated growth backed by H.I.G. Capital.

Truesdale has 40 years of logistics and supply chain experience and previously held senior roles at Unipart (where he last worked), Kuehne + Nagel, Ceva and DHL. He succeeds Paul Ibbetson, who oversaw DX’s sale to H.I.G. and its strategic development.

DX’s ongoing investments include more than GBP 12 million in a regional hub in Derbyshire (England), the launch of its 24/7 ‘DX SameDay’ courier service and the acquisition of Express Freight in Northern Ireland.

With H.I.G.’s support, Truesdale is set to expand DX’s national footprint and enhance its specialist delivery services during its 50th anniversary year.
