PSA: changes at the helm

The global port and terminals operator GPSA International (PSA) has announced that Tan Chong Meng, who joined PSA as its group CEO on 1 October 2011, will be retiring from his positions as the company’s group CEO and board member with effect from 1 March 2024.
In line with succession plans, Ong Kim Pong, currently regional CEO of Southeast Asia at PSA International, assume the role as group CEO and be appointed to the PSA international board.
Nelson Quek, MD of the container business division in PSA since 2021, will take over the reins as regional CEO of Southeast Asia and join PSA’s senior management council. He also oversees the management and overall development of Tuas Port. (cj)
