Ocean Alliance Day 3 Product
The CMA CGM Group, Cosco Shipping, Evergreen and OOCL have signed a contract to continue their cooperation until 2027. In addition, the partners will introduce, inter alia, the "Ocean Alliance Day 3 product" for Asia traffic in April 2019.
The Day 3 product will deploy around 330 containerships with a total capacity of around 3.8 million teu. The product portfolio encompasses a total of 38 services, 19 of which are transpacific slings.
The alliance will also launch a seventh Asia-Europe service, four Asia-Mediterranean services, two transatlantic services connecting Northern Europe with the US east coast and the Gulf of Mexico, four services between Asia and the Middle East and two services that will serve ports from Asia to the Red Sea.
