Menzies appoints new EVP of AMI

Airport services provider Menzies Aviation has appointed Carlos Font as the new executive vice president of Air Menzies International (AMI).
Based in Barcelona, Spain, Font has 20-plus years’ experience in digital innovation and freight forwarding. He will be responsible for driving the company’s growth plans, including developing AMI’s innovation and digital capabilities.
Following a competitive recruitment process, Font joins Menzies Aviation from Shipa Freight and iContainers, a digital freight forwarder, where he has been CEO since 2019. Prior to Shipa, Font held numerous roles in the supply chain industry including at DSV – Global Transport and Logistics and UTi Worldwide. (cj)
