McKay elected new Chair of ICHCA International

The International Cargo Handling Association (ICHCA), an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the safety, productivity and efficiency of cargo handling and movement worldwide, has elected Scott McKay of Australia as its new Chair, effective 30 September 2025, succeeding John Beckett after 18 years of service.
With nearly 40 years of global supply chain experience, including leadership roles across Europe, Asia and Australia, McKay brings deep operational insight to ICHCA’s mission of improving cargo handling safety and performance. "ICHCA has a fantastic opportunity to further develop gathering, analysing and sharing safety data and best practice to drive cultural change across the supply chain," he said.
Founder and CEO of Flywheel Advisory and T Ports, McKay joins as ICHCA continues expanding its international membership and promoting innovation in maritime safety. (ah)
