Logistaas expands Tms tools

Logistaas has expanded its transport management system (Tms) with two new automation features – courier shipment tracking and Iata Cargo account settlement systems (Cass) file reading. The courier tracking function aims to add visibility for parcels handled by major global operators, alongside container and airfreight movements. It updates shipment milestones and routing data automatically and alerts users to changes in arrival times.

The Cass file reading tool processes Excel files by verifying shipments, comparing actual charges with expected costs and flagging discrepancies. According to Logistaas this reduces manual checks across potentially hundreds of shipments each month. "Our focus has always been on enabling freight forwarders to work smarter and faster," said Kareem Naouri (pictured), CEO of Logistaas. (js)
