Jaeger named MD at Baur Hermes Fulfilment

Baur Hermes Fulfilment has appointed Amadeus Jaeger as managing director, effective 15 June. He succeeds Kamil Christoph Kasprowicz, who is leaving the Otto Group.
Jaeger, a former Deutsche Bahn controller, joined Baur in 2020 and played a key role in building up the logistics joint venture. He recently oversaw finance and controlling for Hermes’ southern parcel logistics cluster. He’ll lead the Altenkunstadt-based firm alongside Peter Volk, who becomes spokesperson of the two-person executive team.
The site specialises in small-item logistics and operates a flagship shuttle warehouse launched in 2024. The facility has significantly shortened order-to-shipment times in one of Europe’s most advanced fulfilment centres. (ah)
