With effect from the beginning of 2024, Gebrüder Weiss will take over the Konradsreuth branch of Amm Logistics, another forwarding company.

Located near Hof in Upper Franconia, the facility will continue to operate in its current structure as part of the German general cargo cooperations Cargoline and NG.network, and will be connected to GW’s overall network.

Wolfram Senger-Weiss, chief executive officer of Gebrüder Weiss: "In Germany, we are pursuing a clear growth strategy. Konradsreuth is going to play a central role within our national and international land transport network."

Upper Franconia is an ideal transhipment point for land freight between Eastern Europe and Southern Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The position along the Hamburg-Leipzig-Adriatic Sea route is also good for railfreight. (mk)
