Daikin consolidates presence in France

Daikin recently announced its plans to set up a new site in Noyelles, near Lille, France. It will be the company’s third hub and complement existing sites in the Lyon region, helping Daikin to build up a France-wide network.
Daikin systems will be used for the office spaces at the site. Daikin specialises in air technology and manufactures heat pumps, air conditioning and air purifiers. The company was founded in Lyon in 1933 and is currently headquartered in Nanterre.
The subsidiary of Daikin Europe NV has chosen to renew its partnership with Rhenus Logistics, with whom it has been collaborating for nearly 25 years. Rhenus Logistics, a German logistics provider, was founded in 1912 and offers Europe-wide services. (mk)
