AD Ports invests in Tbilisi Dry Port

The group has acquired a 60% majority stake of the intermodal logistics hub in Georgia. The rail-linked facility is scheduled to become operational by October 2024.
The new hub is strategically positioned between the Caspian Sea and Black Sea, at the heart of the Middle Corridor, which is regarded as the shortest trade route between Asia and Europe covering 7,000 km and requiring a journey of ten to 15 days.
Tbilisi Dry Port comprises multiple facilities including a container freight station, warehouses and a car storage park. It has direct westward railway links to Turkey and the Georgian ports of Poti and Batumi, with further connections to European Black Sea ports in Bulgaria and Romania.
