ZIM launches new service
Seasonal perishables are among the cargo ZIM strives for.
The Haifa (Israel)-headquartered shipping group ZIM is expanding its activities in the East Med and the Black Sea. The carrier has introduced the New Levant - Black Sea Express (LBX) service which is planned to commence on 6 October.
The new LBX, solely operated by ZIM, will have the following rotation: Port Said East - Alexandria - Mersin - Novorossiysk – Constanta - Aliaga – Mersin - Haifa – Port Said. East LBX also takes into account the needs of customers in the region with regards to seasonal agricultural cargo. (cd)
