Two new faces on the board at Port Trois-Rivières

The Trois-Rivières port authority has appointed Marie-Josée Gervais and Guylaine Laporte as members of its board of directors for a mandate of three years. Gervais, a former high-level triathlete and professional cyclist, is known for her involvement with various organisations, including her position as a director of Tourisme Shawinigan since 2014.
Laporte, CPA auditor, CGA, is a partner at Labranche Therrien Daoust Lefrançois and is very involved in various committees in her field of expertise. Since 2004, she has been engaged with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Trois-Rivières, for which she has been chairwoman of the board for thirteen years now.
Danielle St-Amand, chairwoman of the TRPA board of directors, welcomed the new members. (kd)
