Riyadh Air names GSA in the UK and Ireland

FlyUs Aviation Group has been appointed general sales agent (GSA) for Riyadh Air in the UK and Ireland, coinciding with the Saudi carrier’s launch of daily Boeing 787-9 flights between Riyadh and London Heathrow on 26 October.
"It’s rare to see a new airline start daily widebody operations into Heathrow," said Carlo de Haas (right, with Riyadh Air CCO Vincent Coste), President and CEO of FlyUs. "This partnership gives UK and Irish forwarders direct access to the Saudi market, which is growing fast in manufacturing, e-commerce, perishables, and high-value logistics."
FlyUs will manage cargo sales, capacity, and customer support in both countries, supported by its trucking fleet linking the UK with Benelux. Riyadh Air’s Head of Cargo, Pravin Singh, said the partnership reflects "shared ambition and operational excellence" as the airline builds its Vision 2030 network to 100 destinations. (ah)
