PortLab hosts final showcase

Bilbao Portlab has hosted the final demonstration of two projects funded under the second Ports 4.0 call in the commercial category. According to the port the event highlighted advances by Navozyme maritime technologies and Clcircular, focused on digitalisation and efficiency in port logistics. Navozyme presented 'Nswap', a platform for issuing and managing 'Marpol e-declarations', using blockchain-enabled certificates to "provide an additional layer of security and trust in administrative processes," as the company stated.

 

Alongside Nswap, the firm introduced 'Nmap', which streamlines pre-arrival and clearance processes, including a  module for hazardous goods. The project was developed with support of Tradebe, Alfaship shipping agency and several Spanish port authorities. Clcircular showcased improvements to its redesigned cloud platform, a new generation of IoT sensors and battery and sensor validation. (js)
