Pall-Ex: different size, easier distribution

The Pall-Ex Group in UK has introduced ‘Parcel Pallet’, which includes a new pallet size for parcel distribution measuring 0.6 m x 0.8 m x 1 m and featuring a maximum weight of 150 kg.
This differs from the standard base micro pallet currently offered within the sector, as it has a smaller footprint but almost double the height.
The product offers businesses an alternative to traditional parcel distribution for the larger parcel consignments, Pall-Ex said. Furthermore, a weight capacity of 150 kg means there is added flexibility when sending smaller but heavier items, which reduces the risk of damage compared to traditional parcel delivery methods.
