Northrail launches Warsaw-based subsidiary

Northrail, a leasing, asset management and investment provider of rolling stock, has announced the establishment of its Polish subsidiary, 'Northrail Polska', headquartered in Warsaw. The move aims to mark a key milestone in the company’s international growth strategy.
"Poland is a strategically important market for us," said Dr Volker Simmering (pictured), CEO of Northrail. “With our expertise and innovative solutions, we aim to contribute significantly to the region’s rail transport development,” he added. Since March 2025, Aleksandra Jęć serves as the local contact for customers and partners in Poland. She also oversees the Scandinavian market. (js)
