With its new plant in Bangalore, the Hubner Group is strengthening its presence in India and significantly increasing its production capacities for mobility markets in the Asia-Pacific region.

Hubner India produces inter alia over 500 gangway systems for Indian Railways and over 800 gangway systems for Indian manufacturer Beml.

A total of 175 people will be employed at the new plant, thus expanding local engineering competencies. The plant was built as a “green” factory with sustainable materials and local companies.

ncluding the property acquired in 2016, Hubner Group has invested a total of EUR 11 million in the project. The factory previously used in Dabaspete had become too small and has now been leased, Hubner said. (ben)
