New Mediterranean loops operational
Ocean Alliance and The Alliance on new paths.
The AEM6 is an Ocean Alliance's weekly liner service connecting South Korean, Chinese and SE Asian ports with the Adriatic, including stopovers in the Red Sea and the Mediterranean, has started its amended loop.
Evergreen's first vessel sailing according to the new rotation calls only three Adriatic ports: Koper, Trieste and Rijeka. Ten vessels with the capacity of 6,000 – 7,000 teu are deployed on this service.
At the same time, the Port of Barcelona welcomed the first container ship of the MD1, connecting the main Asian ports with the Mediterranean.
The "ONE Millau", part of ONE's fleet (Ocean Network Express), a member of The Alliance, is a 13,900 teu container ship built in 2015 and operated at the APM Terminals Barcelona facilities. (mw)
