Dachser has announced a leadership transition that’s due to take effect on 1 January 2026. Claus Wetzel (pictured left) will take over the division European logistics Germany from Andreas Fritsch, whilst Florian Zehetleitner (on the right) will succeed Wolfgang Reinel as head of European logistics for northern Central Europe.

Wetzel has been with Dachser since 2019 and is the firm’s former head of operations for European logistics in Germany. He’ll manage 41 branches in Germany.

Zehetleitner, who currently leads the ‘interlocking recharged’ programme at Dachser, has taken the new role of deputy managing director and will now start preparing to take charge of business in Switzerland, Austria, Polan, Czechia and the BeNeLux, Nordics, Southeastern Europe und UK / Ireland regions.

Both of their predecessors will remain with the firm in advisory roles.
