Liscont taken over by Yilport

Terminal operator Eurogate has sold its shares in the Portuguese container terminal in Lisbon. The 16.34% will go to global port and terminal operator Yilport, which is domiciled in Turkey and now holds all shares in Liscont. The purchase price was not disclosed; according to press reports, the transaction closed as early as 2021.
The Liscont terminal has two berths and an annual handling capacity of 600,000 teu. Yilport is active on the Iberian Peninsula through its subsidiary Yilport Iberia. It operates primarily in Portugal, where the group now runs seven terminals. (sh)
