JD Logistics is growing its presence in the Middle East, with five warehouses now in operation in the region.

From its Riyadh centre goods are distributed not only in Saudi Arabia but also in the wider Mena region. In partnership with Saudi Electricity Company, JD Logistics is automating dozens of warehouses, aiming to boost efficiency and reduce supply chain costs, as the company has reported.

Since 2020, the company has expanded steadily, launching its first self-operated warehouse in Jebel Ali Port in Dubai (UAE). Its second UAE facility offers integrated logistics solutions for both Chinese exporters and regional businesses, reaching customers in Asia, Africa and Europe.

In 2025, JD Logistics joined forces with Chinese automaker Chery to build an auto parts hub. The centre handles planning, customs clearance, warehousing, quality checks and outbound distribution, serving Mena markets.

In addition to its logistics services, JD engages in local community outreach. During the Eid al-Fitr holiday, the company distributed more than 1,000 gifts in Riyadh. (js)
