The Kazakh national subsidiary of RZD Logistics (RZDL) has seen a massive rise in the number of export shipments of agricultural products.

In 2022, the provider carried five times more grain and agricultural goods to China than in 2021. Transport volumes of wheat bran increased 7.5-fold,  barley sixfold,  linseed also sixfold and compound feed 16-fold.

RZDL’s Kazakh subsidiary is now one of the most important logistics service providers for agricultural products in Central Asia. To meet rising demand for transport services, company is planning, among other things, to augment the number of shunting locomotives at railway stations. (ben)
