CMA CGM upgrades East Med service

CMA CGM is enhancing its NC Levant service. The rotation now includes Alexandria's Trans Misr Terminal (TMT), the carrier's new investment in Egypt. The first vessel reaching the new port of call will be “MV Ef Olivia”, calling Alexandria TMT on 5 March 2023.
El Dekheila, Port Said East/West will be served via Damietta with the company’s SSL MED feeders' weekly departures in UK. The Southampton call will be replaced by Felixstowe and a northbound call in Malta will be added to the current route.
The rotation will then be as follows: Felixstowe - Hamburg - Rotterdam - Antwerp - Le Havre - Malta - Alexandria - Damietta - Beirut - Iskenderun - Mersin - Malta - Tangier - Felixstowe. (sh)
