Changing of the guard on GW's board

After 28 years on the management board of Gebrüder Weiss, Peter Kloiber has stepped down.
In his 35-year career with the company he was in charge of parcel services, logistics, IT, HR, marketing and communications as well as the subsidiaries Xvise and Dicall.
CEO Wolfram Senger-Weiss acknowledged Kloiber’s contribution to the firm’s value-driven culture and transformation into a modern logistics group.
His successor is Peter Schafleitner, who joined the company in 1989 and held various leadership roles in sales and land transport, most recently as director of product management land transport. Schafleitner now joins the board where he’ll be in charge of sales, marketing, land transport product management, parcel services and Dicall from 1 July. The reorganisation of board duties reflects a strategy focused on continuity and leveraging internal expertise.
