Real estate developer Panattoni is planning to enter the Belgian market to meet rising demand for sustainable logistics infrastructure.
Located centrally in Europe, the country has key ports and connections to Germany, France, the Netherlands, and the UK. First developments are expected to begin in the autumn, most likely in Wallonia.
Jeroen Gerritsen has been appointed to head the Belgian business as general manager, with Joren van Hout as technical development director. The latter has over twelve years of industry experience and will oversee the engineering, planning, and construction processes. Gerritsen: “We are excited to soon present our new Belgian offering of future-proof multifunctional business spaces.” (mk)
