Bauer appointed to ACCF board

The German airfreight association Air Cargo Community Frankfurt (ACCF) has welcomed the chief operating officer of Lufthansa Cargo, Frank Bauer, as a new board member.
Bauer has been part of the Lufthansa Cargo executive team since 2023, serving as CFO, CHRO and labour director before taking over as COO on 1 July 2025. He previously held management positions at Eurowings as well as in controlling and risk management in the Lufthansa Group.
Bauer stresses the importance of cooperation in the community, with a focus on digitalisation and innovation, to further fortify Frankfurt’s role as a global airfreight hub.
The ACCF represents more than 100 companies from the airfreight value chain at Frankfurt airport, aiming to further develop processes and infrastructure at Europe’s leading cargo gateway. (gy)
