Alaska Cargo expands Pacific network

Map: Alaska Air Cargo

Alaska Airlines Cargo has launched nonstop service between Seattle (SEA) and Seoul Incheon (ICN) one week ago. The flights, operated five times a week by 787s since 12 September 2025, add 40% more capacity compared to the airline’s A330 widebodies. The move builds on the daily Tokyo Narita–Seattle route, which has quickly become an important channel for perishables, electronics and auto parts since its May launch.

Additional capacity is planned for the holiday peak: Honolulu–Auckland services resume in November, HNL–Sydney rises to daily, and a fourth daily widebody joins the HNL–Seattle corridor. A fifth HNL–Los Angeles rotation and weekly Anchorage–Honolulu uplift also strengthen the network.

Alaska and Hawaiian’s combined cargo services now span 14 destinations across Asia, the South Pacific, Canada and Mexico, with long-haul links to London and Rome scheduled for 2026. (ah)
