DHL to invest € 1 bn in India by 2030

DHL Group plans to invest approximately € 1 bn in the Indian market by 2030 to support growth in key sectors such as life sciences & health care, e-commerce, and new energies. The investment programme includes major infrastructure projects, such as the first DHL Health Logistics Hub in Bhiwandi, India's largest low-emission Blue Dart facility in Bijwasan, an automated DHL Express sorting centre in New Delhi, as well as several IT and electromobility hubs in Indore, Chennai and Mumbai.
With over 1,300 digital and logistics professionals, India is evolving into an important technology centre for DHL, driving automation and AI development. The strategic investment aims to strengthen sustainable and digital logistics in India and to further enhance the country's role in global supply chains, in line with the goal of becoming climate-neutral by 2050.
