Toll expanding at Dubai South

Dubai South and the Toll Group have broken ground on a 25,000 sqm distribution centre in Dubai South's logistics district. The new facility will include warehouse space, mezzanine and offices, with capacity for 30,644 pallets and four customisable cargo chambers. It will also feature temperature-controlled storage with VNA racking and is being built to 'Leed silver certification' standards.
The site will serve as a strategic hub for the MENA region, offering 3PL services, inbound and outbound handling, value-added services and cross-border transport. Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of Dubai South’s Logistics District, said the investment highlights the confidence of global logistics players in Dubai and it’s ambition to be a connected and sustainable hub. (js)
