The Alfred Schuon group has opened its new Wildberg II logistics centre, adding 30,000 sqm of storage and office space to its operations.

Built to ‘DGNB Gold’ standards, the site runs without fossil fuels and includes photovoltaic systems, as the company has reported. It features rack and block storage, climate-controlled areas and infrastructure for lithium-ion battery handling. Additional facilities include training rooms, offices, kitchens, rest areas and accommodation for drivers.

The new site was completed around 18 months after construction began. According to Alexander Schuon, managing director of the Alfred Schuon group, Wildberg II marks a key step in expanding Schuon’s contract logistics offering, complementing its European transport activities with integrated logistics solutions.
