Relocating tomorrow; rebranding in sight

South Korean cargo carrier Air Incheon has applied to the Korean Intellectual Property Office to trademark the name 'Airzeta', signalling a potential rebranding ahead of its planned merger with Asiana Airlines' cargo unit. The new brand could mark the launch of a fully integrated cargo airline, combining Asiana’s long-haul capabilities with Air Incheon’s regional network.

The move comes just days before the company's relocation, scheduled for tomorrow, 19 July 2025, to a new 4,100 m² headquarters in Seoul’s Gangseo district, where around 350 employees from both carriers will work under one roof. Operational preparations continue, with safety audits and aircraft registrations under way.

Air Incheon has maintained stable services, including charter flights for entertainment logistics, and is securing new investments to support its post-merger strategy and international network expansion. (ah)
